Retractable tow bar without electrical kit, for 2cv, Dyane, Ami8 etc. Made by Burton 2cv Parts. All measurements shown in image.

This towbar will fit any original chassis or copy of an original, we know it also fits the SLC galvanised chassis, it may only fit with modification or fabrication of extra bracketry to other aftermarket chassis, it will be most difficult to fit to a chassis which has box section legs.

This towbar can be folded away underneath and forward of the rear bumper of your car.

Supplied without any electrical kit, (buy it on the general market easily and cheaply) suitable for 2CV, Dyane, Ami 6 and Ami 8.

The towbar can then be mounted using the provided mounting hardware.

The best way to carry a bicycle on a 2cv is to use a bicycle rack which clips onto the tow hitch.

We don't know yet if this will function well on vans etc. I will try on an Acadiane as soon as possible.
