This is NOT intended to remain as part of the fuel supply system, it is intended as an aid to get your fuel pump working then to be taken off and stored for next time.

I've always had several half alive 2cvs around, invariably the fuel draws back out of the pump, fuel fluid pumps don't pump air very well so one of these used to suck fuel through the pump will usually do the trick and save flattening the battery.
